The Beginning
1974
Weinstein’s was founded in 1971 as a family-owned business. Weinstein’s was the first to bring European clothing to New Orleans with lines such as Zegna, Azzedine Alaia, Issey Miyake, Yohji Yamamoto, and Zanella.
The Shops at Canal Place
1984
Innovative in its concept, Weinstein’s took off, and in 1984 moved to the Shops at Canal Place to make room for its growing business. Originally, the store was only menswear, and then we expanded into the women’s clothing business.
Magazine Street
2005
Sixteen years ago, we were among the first local retailers to relocate to the hustle and bustle of Magazine Street in Uptown New Orleans and completely dedicated our store to womenswear.
